About Me

Lots of good luck and good will amongst peers has helped clear an unpredictable meandering musical path for myself over the last couple decades.  Finding my footing within frequencies and friends along the way, I’ve developed a tinnitus-twinged trajectory and something that resembles a career when looking back now.

Being part of a few circles of like-minded creative folks has and continues to yield fruitful harvests through many seasons of recording sessions.  I’m thankful for years of collaborations with Pat Mastelotto, Eoghan McCloskey, Mike Day, Jeff Swearengin, Matt Parmenter, Bill Munyon, Jen Mulhern, Cha Blasco, Markus Reuter, and so many others associated with these wonderful artists.

These folks along with the rest of my friends and family have been extremely patient with me while I juggle studio projects and bands I play in with a somewhat unpredictable tour life that keeps me on the road a good seven to ten months out of any given year.  I’ve been blessed with many opportunities to work with a diverse range of the live entertainment industry operating from stadiums to clubs all over the world as well as major broadcast events.  Thankful for the time I’ve had to learn from and collaborate with such artists and their live production teams as Camila Cabello, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Charli XCX, Goo Goo Dolls, and Childish Gambino among others.

Along the way, I’ve had the good fortune of being involved in releases from Goo Goo Dolls, Steven Wilson, Daughtry, Mr. Mister, King Crimson and many others.  In regard to the folks who have helped shape my abilities as a mix engineer and sound designer, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have spent some time with mixing engineers both live and in the studio whom I’ve looked up to as arbiters of excellence in their craft such as Machine, Stewart Bennett, Ryan Cecil, Benjamin Schäfer, Reggie Griffith, and Tim Palmer.

As an educator, I’ve been a guest lecturer several times at Austin Community College thanks to my friend and past instructor Francis Preve. In conjunction with ACC and Ableton, I’ve presented live production workshops to students as well as with other private educational institutions. It has also been an honor to provide internship positions through ACC when semester schedules line up with educational experiences I can offer.

As a musician and songwriter, I have fashioned a project called Earthdiver as a container for sonic explorations with a revolving door of guest collaborators. I find that Earthdiver is useful as something of a grounding rod to keep my more aggressive and experimental inclinations away from other projects I work on where they don’t belong.  I also sometimes get to work on remixes for other artists that I’ll usually produce under the name Bilderberg.

Have a look around the website to discover information on these collaborations I’ve mentioned here and more.

Thanks,
-Adrian
